The George R. Brown Convention Center opened on the east side of downtown Houston on September 26, 1987. The building was named for internationally recognized entrepreneur, engineer, civic leader, philanthropist George Rufus Brown (1898-1983), who donated six of the 11 blocks necessary to build the GRB. The first convention held in the George R. Brown was the American Society of Travel Agents in October 1987.

Expert instructors will guide you on the journey towards solving the problem of the Great Resignation and connecting with Next Gen workers, helping your company to reiignite its success!

We strongly encourage companies to send 4 participants to represent different organizational perspectives as they build their "walk away" comprehensive action plans or pilot programs as part of the immersive learning experience. It will ensure success in addressing the particular pain points they are experiencing in attracting, retaining or developing talent.  

 

These 4 participants should include:

  • Category 1 - A Senior Manager or Executive Sponsor to help initiate the implementation of the company's action plan or pilot program

  • Category 2 - An Operational Manager for the targeted area

  • Category 3 - A Human Resources or Recruiting support for the targeted area

  • Category 4 - A high potential next generation level 1 employee from the targeted area (18-35 year old) who can help represent their peer's perspectives in helping the company to explore options and solutions in achieving maximum results for the company.

 

For companies that register 3 participants from the first 3 participant categories, the Nine2 Ninety2 Foundation focused on Mental Health will provide a full tuition scholarship for a category 4 participant (Next Generation Level 1 employee) to enable Next Generation talent development and representation in the formation of each companies action plan or pilot program.  Please contact NexGenLiink to register the scholarshipped Next Generation Level 1 employee.
